UAE Government Announces 4-Days Eid-ul-Adha Holidays

On 4th July the UAE government officially launched the tender notice of the Eid-ul-Adha holiday schedule for 2022.

The holidays will start from 8th July 2022 – 11th July 2022. During these holidays, all public and private sectors shall be closed except for FMCG stores e.g, bakeries, departmental stores, and meat shops.

The tender also states the parking fee policy. From 8th -11th, there will be no parking fee charged in the whole UAE in parking areas and parking lots. 

Here’s the holiday schedule:

  • The 8th July holiday is for Arafat day (the day of Hajj)
  • The 9th – 11th holidays are for Eid-ul-Adha

The UAE government has also set up temporary slaughter shelters for the Qurbani this Eid in all the cities.

However, all the existing contracts of Rental Cars UAE are working as usual.
