The Suzuki Vitara is a compact SUV manufactured by Suzuki. It was introduced in the early 1990s and is currently in its third generation.
The Suzuki Vitara engine has been a 1.6-liter four-cylinder since the vehicle’s introduction in 1989. This engine produces just 66 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 79 foot-pounds of torque at 4,400 rpm which is equal to most Hyundai cars. In 1990, Suzuki added a 1.8-liter version of this same engine to the lineup, producing 76 horsepower at 5,500 rpm and 89 foot-pounds of torque at 4200 rpm
The Suzuki Vitara is equipped with a CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) which has seven simulated ‘gears’ and enables the driver to choose from three drive modes – normal, sport or eco – depending on driving conditions or personal preference.
The Vitara’s cabin is well-constructed, it feels solid and robust, and the quality of materials is good. The main dashboard is finished in hard plastic with a soft-touch band running over the top of the center console, while the door panels are covered in hard plastic with a textured finish. The instrument cluster is clearly laid out and easy to read at a glance.
The exterior of the Suzuki Vitara is sleek, modern, and stylish. It’s also quite functional, with large windows that allow you to see everything going on around you while driving off-road or on the highway.
The Vitara comes in two models: 2WD and 4WD. Both models come with a manual transmission or automatic transmission (the 4WD only has an automatic). It’s a semi-off-road car, but if you want to get a pure off-road-ready car, book it now from here.
