The JAC J7 was introduced in the facelifted version of the JAC iEV7S in China in February 2013 and released in all the new models in June 2013.
The JAC J7 is a compact sedan with a four-cylinder turbocharged and direct-injected diesel engine with a displacement of 1.5 liters, producing 84 kW (115 hp) at 4,400 rpm and 210 Nm of torque from 1,750 to 4,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission with an overdrive.
In order to extract maximum efficiency from this engine, JAC has equipped it with a dual-clutch transmission (DCT). This allows for improved shift ability and greater responsiveness over conventional transmissions.
The front-end design of the new model features an aggressive grille with large air intakes and round headlights with LED technology. The LED taillights are integrated with LED DRLs at the rear for improved visibility during night driving conditions.
The interior of the JAC J7 is spacious and comfortable. It does not have any hard edges or sharp corners, which makes it easy to use and comfortable to drive around in. The seating position is also adjustable and can be adjusted in different ways depending on your height and preferences.
The rear seats are very spacious and comfortable, with enough room for adults to sit comfortably without having to slide over much to make room for kids at the back seat.
