Ferrari LaFerrari: A True Hypercar

The Ferrari LaFerrari is an exotic supercar and one of Ferrari’s most expensive supercars which are still in production. It’s a fully packed performance car with a top speed of 420 Km/h.

Engine 

The LaFerrari engine is a 6.3L V12 engine that produces 789 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. It is mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The machine can rev to 9,000 rpm and has a redline of 9,200 rpm. The engine has been modified for the new car to deliver more power and better fuel economy than its predecessor.

The engine has dual overhead camshafts with four valves per cylinder and direct injection technology which reduces emissions by 30% compared to its predecessor’s engine which was designed for the Enzo Ferrari supercar.

Interior

The interior of the LaFerrari is a brilliantly designed masterpiece. The car’s design was inspired by the Ferrari F430.

The seats are made from leather and have adjustable backrests, as well as heated seats for each passenger. Two rear seats fold down to create additional cargo space for your shopping bags or groceries.

The dashboard includes a large center console with an integrated GPS and stereo speakers, along with a large touch screen display that shows you essential vehicle info such as speed, altitude, engine temperature, and fuel level.

Exterior

The exterior of this sports luxury car is made as per the performance car standard and high-speed maneuverings. The back end of this car has a large spoiler which helps increase downforce while cornering, this spoiler also helps reduce lift while turning corners so it doesn’t cause any lift-off oversteer or understeer. 

The rear wing is also able to rotate 360 degrees so you can adjust how much downforce you want with your driving style. The bodywork is made of carbon fiber and aluminum, which has been treated with an improved version of Ferrari’s patented Pirelli Cinturato P7 tire. The rear wing generates downforce, while the front air intake channels air into the engine’s compressor housing.

Safety Features

Ferrari has taken safety seriously with the Laferrari, which features a wealth of safety features that are some of the most advanced in production cars today. 

These include:

• Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) – The LDWS is an active driver assist system that identifies when your vehicle is drifting out of its lane and warns you with an audible tone and visual display on the dashboard.
• Dynamic Steering – Dynamic Steering adjusts for both acceleration and braking to give you greater control over your vehicle during turns, so you can focus on driving rather than braking or accelerating.
• Adaptive Front Lighting – With Adaptive Front Lighting, your headlights adapt according to road conditions, including rain and snow, to light up the road ahead more effectively.
