Overview

Use this guide to plan a car rental for a short visit, a work trip or a few days while your own vehicle is unavailable. Start with the dates and journeys you need to cover, then compare complete quotations.

Browse our daily rental cars to shortlist vehicles. For other rental periods and vehicle categories, explore our car rental options in Dubai. Confirm availability and the terms for your selected car before booking.

Choose the Rental Period Around Your Dates

Give the team your collection and return dates and times. Ask how a rental day is calculated and what happens if you return later than agreed. For a three-day or five-day visit, compare the total for the whole stay, including any collection and return charges.

If you need a car for several weeks, compare that quotation with monthly car rental options. Check the billing period, included mileage, extension terms and early-return conditions. A lower daily or monthly figure does not necessarily mean a lower total for your dates.

Choose a Car for Your Passengers and Luggage

Check the actual vehicle’s seating, boot space, model year and features. Tell the team how many people and bags will travel, and mention any child seat or other extra you need. Confirm availability and any charge for those extras.

Compare economy rental options if keeping the total cost down is a priority. Check that the car fits your journeys and parking arrangements; a category name alone does not confirm a particular model or feature.

Compare the Complete Written Quotation

Use the same dates, vehicle requirements and expected mileage for every quotation. Check these items before accepting:

  • Rental charge: the amount for the full period, applicable taxes and any mandatory fees.
  • Mileage: the included kilometres and the charge for exceeding them.
  • Insurance: the included cover, excess, exclusions and the cost of any optional cover.
  • Payment and deposit: what is payable before collection, any deposit or card authorisation, and the applicable release conditions.
  • Handover and extras: collection, delivery, return-location and requested-equipment charges.
  • Changes: cancellation, extension, late-return and early-return terms.

Keep a refundable deposit separate from the rental charge when comparing costs, while including it in the amount you may need upfront. Allow for fuel, tolls and parking unless your written quotation states they are included.

Confirm Documents Before Collection

Tell the team whether you are a UAE resident or a visitor, where your driving licence was issued and who will drive. Ask them to confirm the current documents and eligibility requirements for your booking before paying or arranging collection. Do not rely on a general checklist to establish whether your licence is accepted.

Arrange Collection and Return

  1. Confirm the address or meeting point, contact details and handover time. For an airport arrival, share your flight number and terminal and ask how a delay would affect collection.
  2. At handover, review the vehicle condition, fuel level and mileage with the agent. Keep the inspection record, rental agreement and payment confirmation.
  3. Before returning the car, check the agreed time, location and fuel arrangement. If your plans change, contact the team to confirm any revised cost or return instructions.

Check current rental offers only against the vehicles, dates and conditions they cover. Share your dates, preferred car size, estimated mileage and collection location when you request a rental quotation.
